Our story
Northstar Stays began with a single chalet on Red Mountain and an unreasonable attention to detail. Fifteen years later we care for a curated collection of homes across Aspen and Snowmass — still run by the same local team, still obsessive about the details.
Every home in our portfolio has been visited, inspected, and photographed by someone on our team. Every owner is someone we'd send a friend to. We do it this way because it's how we'd want our own home — and our own ski trip — handled.

Dana Whitfield
Founder & GM. Born in the valley and skiing Ajax since she could walk. Dana started Northstar with one home and a notebook of standards we still hold every property to.

Head of Guest Care. Your first call and your last. Marco and his team are on call through every stay — lift tickets, dinner reservations, late-night questions, all of it.

- Every property is visited and inspected in person before we list it. We only take on homes we'd happily send a friend to — and we hold each one to the same standard.

- One team, start to finish. The people who vet and photograph the homes are the same people who answer your call during your stay.
- Can you manage my Aspen or Snowmass home?
- We're always open to the right home. Tell us about your property on the contact page and we'll let you know if it's a fit — and what it could earn.
- Do you handle local permits and lodging tax?
- Yes. We register and renew the required short-term-rental permits and collect and remit lodging taxes on every booking, so owners stay compliant without the paperwork.
